A Creative Outlet

World Haus Fashion; my personal creative outlet.

Looking back on my first few months of blogging makes me smile. My very first post; Sunday Evening really started it all. I remember it so well: I wasn't sure what I was exactly doing, what I wanted my pictures to look like, or what my next steps were going to be. What I did know, was that I enjoy and appreciate fashion, and that I wanted to expose this passion in a direct way.

Almost four years have passed since I started this blog, and within this time so many things have changed and occured, yet fashion continues to play a lead role in my life. I am grateful and satisfied with what I have done and accomplished, and very pleased that this blog was able to capture many of these moments.

Thanksgiving Dinner

This past weekend in Canada was Thanksgiving, which means beautiful fall scenery, turkey dinner, and most importantly, family time. My weekend was split evenly between all of these things, and I feel so grateful and blessed for everything and everyone around me. My outfit for Monday’s family dinner was a Zara total look (excluding the cardigan and jacket). I received this dress as a gift, and I can honestly say it is one of my favorites. The floral print is perfect, as is the design of the dress itself; the neckline and length are classy yet feminine and fun.

I promised, and I keep my promises.

It’s been 73 days since my last post, and it feels like an eternity. So much has happened during these last weeks that has flipped my world around; of course, leaving me minimal time for myself.  But, just as promised, I am not giving up on WHF, and I will try to return to creating regular posts, as soon as things settle.

To start this comeback off on the right note, I’ve found some photos which I took back in September, and figured I may as well post them on here, since they do compliment the season.

Sunny Days in Miami

Miami has been my "third" home, right after Canada and Europe, for some time now. Everything about this city is perfect, and I can never get enough! If you've never been, I defintely suggest you consider it!

Jungle Vibes pt.1

Before I cut my hair, before I bought a car, before I engaged myself in a full time work load, and before many other recent changes, I promised myself that I would update my blog regularly.

These photos were taken before my life threw me into third gear, and even though they are a bit delayed, I still feel they are appropriate for my blog. This dress I bought in London last summer, really, only because it was on sale for £2, and the print looked summery and fun. Now that I look at it, it really was a smart impulse buy, as the dress is now one of my favorites, and ideal for the summer months.

Another important aspect to notice in these photos is my hair, and it’s length. Though I have days where I miss my long hair, I never miss it enough to say, “I want it back”. I am perfectly content with the medium-short length of my hair currently, and I sometimes wonder why I did not decide to cut it sooner.

Festival Season

Life has taken me on quite the adventure recently, and it doesn't look like it wants to let me off. No complaints though, because even with a full time work load, I find myself waking up with a smile each and every day. Many aspects of my life are changing, many new challenges are presented, and overall, a new chapter is beginning; and I could not be more excited about all of this! No worries though, I am not saying good-bye to World Haus Fashion!

Playing Tourist: Nassau, Bahamas

Sending you all love from the beautiful Islands of the Bahamas! We have visited these islands a few times already, and have really grown to like them! As for our outfits, light and breezy, because you can only think you know what "humidity" feels like, before stepping out in this area of the world! All on a positive note nonetheless, Bahamas, it's always a pleasure.

Playing Tourist: San Juan, Puerto Rico!

Traveling is definitely one of my favorite activities, and so I try to travel as much as possible. My most recent traveling adventure took me to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Let me tell you, I was not expecting what I saw! I fell in love with the city at first sight; the architecture, the scenery, everything was absolutely breathtaking! I will definitely return to San Juan in the future, and I highly recommend visiting it!

Lost and Found

This outfit is definitely Rihanna inspired. Even though it seems like many people are showing off this style these days, I think it truly belongs to Rihanna. Though I find this set very comfortable, I would not call it my “everyday style”.  Nonetheless,  I love it!
