Denim and Leather; a style icons best friend!

These leather pants have been a staple item in my outfits for the past few months. I can pair them with anything and they are great for all occasions; school, work, a night out, they are perfect for everything. I decided to show one of my favourite pieces to wear with them, and that is the denim shirt. Denim and Leather are two materials which will always be fashionable! Together, they can create a perfectly fit city chic set, which if you really wanted to, could wear every day, every year, for many years, and would never be less stylish than the seasonal trend. Mark my words!

Woman in Red

Ever since I recieved my very first pair of Black Milk leggings, I have been falling in love with every single pair, and have been obsessing with the company. Absolutely eveything they create is pure genius, I can't help myself. I bought these beauties a little while ago, and really have been wearing them regularly (I especially enjoy wearing them to school; not a single person walks by without looking at my legs then at me then back at my legs, and too many people attempt at grabbing my leg and lifting it to read the comic. The joys of confidence!

These Litas, I bought a while ago as well, and they are my babies. They stand tall on my shelving unit, in between all of my beautiful shoes. I can truly say they are a charm in my closet (but really, what isn't a charm in my closet... ).

Also, on a small side note, this photo was posted and shared by Black Milk Clothing on their facebook page and twitter, and we recieved a few comments such as "How is she walking in those shoes on ice?" Well darlings, I definitely did not walk in them... I slid. We took these photos, and I changed my shoes. As much as I want to wear them all of the time, some moments are better than others. My photography is also a type of art and design; not all sets are "street style" looks, worn specifically in the environment in which they are photgraphed in. My photgrapher and I like to coordinate outfits with scenery to tell a story, or to simply put two opposites together in hopes of a unique photo.

Feminine and Delicate

This is the outfit I wore on the first day of the New Year. I decided to start the year with a clean yet chic set, because as my mom says it: "The way you are today, you will be all year". This skirt was a staple item in my Holiday outfits because it is so unique and works well with both blouses and knits. Since it is white, it also can be matched together well with any coloured item. The feather-like material gave my outift the type of lift it needed, each time, and for that I am grateful. All I need these days are simple pieces such as this skirt, to mix and match with practically anything.

Simplicity is Elegance

Welcome to the New Year! It's been a while since I've posted photos of myself, rather than of inspiration found on the internet, but I promise you haven't lost me. The month of December was incredibly busy for me with school exams, and the holidays, but I promise that I am now back for good. I will begin this year with posting some photos from last year, which I didn't have a chance to post. This set has been one of my favourites this season, the leather pants, heels and white coat, are each so simple and chic, yet together form an elegant yet everyday fashionista look. Remember, you can never go wrong with simple pieces, often times, less is more. in my opinion, the less jewelerry and accessories you wear, the classier you look. I am in no way saying that you should cut back though, because statement necklaces and mixed accessories are stunning additions to any outfit.

Happy New Year!

Looking back on the past year, 2012, I have come to the conclusion that many posts and styles were inspired by different songs, in addition to the changing seasons and moods. Therefore, to close off the 2012 year, I have put together an album of the songs which played a strong role for us throughout the year. The album can be found on our youtube channel, as well as below here.

I invite you all to visit the blog, and have a look at all of the looks from this past year. We have come so far this past year, and I am so grateful and proud of  all of our accomplishments, and I am looking forward to another wonderful year with World Haus Fashion and all of you! I thank you all for the continued support and love, and I wish you health and happiness in this new year <3
